This album was originally released on Sid Bucknor's label "Tropical Records" back in the '70s.

About Winston Wright:
Winston Wright is a Jamaican pianist and keyboard player born in 1944 and died in 1993. Winston Wright began to record in the mid-'60s, appearing on many rocksteady tracks for Arthur "Duke" Reid and other producers. After the success of Harry J. All Stars' "Liquidator" in 1969, he then worked for Dynamic Sounds Studios (Where Sid was the sound engineer) in the early '70s and was part of Toots & The Maytal's touring band from 1975. Sid Bucknor also worked with Winston Wright on another song called - "Love of the Common People." Winston died of a heart attack on March 18, 1993. RIP

About Prince Far I:
Michael James Williams was the real name of Prince Far I. This Jamaican DJ ran his own label, Cry Tuff. The Voice of Thunder was shot to death in his home on September 15, 1983. He was 39 years old at that time. RIP

Norman "Sid"Bucknor is a well known sound engineer, composer and producer of ska, rocksteady and reggae music. He started his career in Studio 1 in the 60's and since has been with every leading record label and studio of the time, such as Channel 1, Treasure Isle, Chalk Farm, Trojan and Virgin to name a few.
